Jiddu Krishnamurti

Jiddu Krishnamurti was an Indian philosopher, speaker and writer. Adopted by members of the Theosophical tradition in his early life, he was groomed to fill the advanced spiritual role known as the World Teacher. By 1929, he had rejected this mantle and distanced himself from the related movement. He spent the rest of his life travelling the world speaking to large and small groups as well as individuals. He emphasized topics such as choiceless awareness, psychological inquiry, and freedom from religious, spiritual and cultural conditioning. |
